LALITPUR: Nepal Taekwondo Association and South Korean Embassy in Nepal are jointly organising the eighth Korean Ambassador Open Taekwondo Championship from Thursday at the International Sports Complex.

The tournament will feature a total of 32 categories in fight —eight each in senior men and women as well girls and boys — and 18 events in poomsae, informed tournament coordinator Nabin Kumar Shrestha. Around 1,400 players are expected to take part in the event.
