LALITPUR: Little Angels’ and St Xavier’s Jawalakhel ‘A’ advanced to the quarter-finals of the 22nd Fr Moran Memorial Invitational Primary Football Tournament on Sunday.

LA thrashed Rosebud School 7-0 riding on a hat-trick from Lakshya Maharjan. Bhargab Silwal scored a brace, while Josuwa Budhathoki netted one and Rosebud’s player scored an own goal.

LA topped Group A with the win.

Similarly, St Xavier’s beat Kathmandu University School 1-0 and finished as runners up to make it to last eight.

Aarav Samrat Hada scored the solitary goal for St Xavier’s.

In another match, Nepal Don Bosco played a 1-1 draw against Moran Memorial.
