Chyasal Youth Club missed a chance to move to the top of the Martyrs Memorial B Division Football League after a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Nayabasti Youth Club here at the ANFA Complex grounds today.

Lila Bahadur Thapa Magar scored the solitary goal of the match in 76th minute that helped Nayabasti stun one of the favourite teams of the league.

The result meant Chyasal remained at the third position with 19 points from 10 matches. New Road Team, with one match advantage, are tied with Chaysal but are second on goal difference.

Leaders Shree Kumari Club have 20 points in nine matches. Nayabasti climbed to eighth position with 13 points from 10 matches.

At the Nepal APF Club grounds in Halchowk, Satdobato Youth Club edged past Tushal Youth Club 1-0 to move up to fifth position with 16 points.

Krishna Bir Rumba’s goal in eighth minute was enough for Satdobato to snatch full three points from Tushal, who slipped one position down to 12th with 10 points after Madhyapur Youth Association defeated Mahabir Club 1-0.

Sansar Nanda Palanchoke scored the solitary goal for Madhyapur in the 40th minute. Madhyapur, despite having 10 points, are ahead of Tushal. Mahabir are at the bottom of the table with just one point.
