BUTWAL: Ten-man Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club thrashed Tribhuvan Army Club 3-0 and advanced to the semi-finals of the 20th Tilottama Gold Cup Football Tournament at the ANFA Technical Centre grounds on Tuesday.

Bishal Rai scored a brace and Victor added one for MMC. Rai opened the scoring in the 40th minute before MMC were reduced to 10 men in the 65th minute after Dona Thapa got marching orders.

However, Rai doubled the tally in the 89th minute before Victor extended the lead in the injury time.

Rai was named the man-of-the-match and he got Rs 11,000.
