LALITPUR: FIDE Master Manish Hamal, Himal Lama and Sumit Panta made it three wins in a row in the Shivani Air fifth Kamana Sahakari Chess Tournament on Monday.

Hamal defeated Manoj BK in the second round and saw off Sujendra Prasad Shrestha in the third round, while Lama beat Sabin Chandra Ghimire and Punyaman Karmacharya. Panta beat Anish Kumar Subedi and Sudarshan Pradhan. They have three points each. Madan Krishna Kayastha, Rijendra Rajbhandari, Bhupendra Niraula and Keshav Shrestha have 2.5 points apiece.
