KATHMANDU: City Sports Development Committee of Kageshwori Manahara Municipality is  organising the Mayor Cup U-20 Football Tournament at the Thali grounds from April 28 to May 12.

All nine wards of the municipality will  compete in the league-cum-knockout tournament, informed the  organisers at a press meet. Committee President Ram Prasad Pudasaini informed that teams will be formed by including players of their respective wards.

National  Sports Council Member Upendra Paudel said the hosts had provided the teams with preparation money of Rs  100,000 each.

The top two teams will get Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000  respectively, while player of the series, highest scorer and best  goalkeeper will get medals.
