National football league to be held from November 30: ANFA

KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association, on Wednesday announced the National football league will be held from November 30, at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

In a statement today, ANFA said that the Executive meeting chaired by President Narendra Shrestha made the decision.

The meeting also decided to provide compensation to Three Star Club, who had been deprived of competing in the AFC Asian Club Championship playoff owing to miscommunication by ANFA with AFC, as stated in the statement.

During the meeting, the committee also decided to seek approval from AFC to hold the ANFA election on January 7, 2018 and the Extraordinary Congress on October 9, 2017.

The meeting also took two key decision to construct three mini pitches in Kathmandu, Nawalparasi and Makwanpur apiece under AFC's Development Programee and participate in the AFC U-15 Girls' Championship in Bangladesh.

The National League which was halted for more than 2 years would finally resume from November 18.

Patan-based Three Star Club had lifted the last edition of RebBull National League title on 2015.
