Thousands of fans thronged the Tribhuvan International Airport to give the players, who ended the 23-year trophy drought of Nepal, a hero's welcome.

The All Nepal Football Association organisED a victory parade to welcome the champions.

The rally passed through Gaushala, Maitidevi, Dilli Bazaar, Putali Sadak, Pradarshani Marga, Sahid Gate, Sundhara and Tripureshwar before converging into a function at the Dasharath Stadium, according to ANFA.
