KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Club won the mixed team event title of the iMPACT Thamel Open Table Tennis Championship here on Monday.

In the final match, NPC outplayed Nepal APF Club 17-5. Earlier, APF defeated Tribhuvan Army Club in the second qualifier to make it to the final.

The top three teams received Rs 40,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. On Saturday, NPC’s Shyantu Shrestha and Nabita Shrestha won the men and women singles titles respectively, while APF’s Samyog Kapali and TAC’s Dikshya Dahal won the U-16 section gold medals.

The tournament was organised by iMPACT Sports Management under the sponsorship of Huawei Nova 2i.
