KATHMANDU: It's official now- Nepal will host the U-19 South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship .

SAFF sent a confirmation letter to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) today, saying all eight member associations -- Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka--  will be competing in the regional tournament scheduled for August 20-29.

Two matches have been scheduled for a day in the group stages and the semi-finals, according to the letter.

Venues are yet to be fixed.
