LALITPUR: Nepal men’s team defeated Hvidovre club of Denmark in a friendly volleyball match played here at the Nepal Army Sports Complex on Saturday.

Hvidovre took first set 25-17 before Nepal bounced back and claimed next three sets 25-15, 25-23 and 25-23 to complete the victory.

Nepal Volleyball Association, under the auspices of National Sports Council, organised the match to mark the golden jubilee of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Denmark.

According to NVA, Nepal will play two friendly matches against Bangladesh on August 29 and 30.
