46th in 5000m, Rimal fails to improve personal best in Rio

KATHMANDU: Nepali athlete Hari Kumar Rimal, who had eyed a new national record, completed the men's 5000m in 14 minutes and 54.42 seconds as he finished 46th in the heats of the Rio Olympic Games at the Olympic Stadium on Wednesday.

With the timing, the Tribhuvan Army Club runner, however, failed to improve his personal best of 14:32.18 also.
