Nepali pair of Nisan Shrestha and Aaditya Subedi advanced to the boys’ doubles final along with India duo of Anargha Ganuly and Leston Vaz in the Kesha ANLTA Asian U-14 Tennis Championship Circuit-II here at the Satdobato Tennis Complex courts today.

In the semi-final matches, Shrestha and Sudedi saw off Indian duo of Harisharan Baskaran and Ramalingam Nathin Ram 6-2, 6-3, while Ganguly and Vaz defeated the pair of Shree Yog Adhikari of Nepal and Samprit Sharma of India 6-1, 6-3.

In girls’ doubles semi-final matches, Abhilasha Bista of Nepal and Ilina Jha of India recorded a 6-1, 6-3 win against Nepali pair of Isha Shree Shah and Sharvani Shrestha, while Indian duo of Vaishnavi Adrak and Harshali Mandavkar thrashed Prachi Mantri of India and Saloni Tamang of Nepal 6-2, 6-0.

Earlier, the pair of Shah and Shrestha beat Nepali pair of Rosani Limbu and Azaa Regmi 6-1, 6-0, while Adkar and Mandavkar duo earned a double bagel against Nepali pair of Prakriti Shrestha and Sneha Yadav in the quarter-finals. Similarly, the pair of Mantri and Tamang beat Nepali duo of Nimisha Dhakal and Aisha Dolker Gurung 6-2, 6-0.
