KATHMANDU: Patan Multiple Campus won the title of the Inter-college Futsal Tournament here on Friday. In the final match held at the Shantinagar Futsal, Patan ‘C’ defeated their ‘B’ team 3-2 in tie breaker. Nagendra Pun, Ashok Khadka and Ashish KC scored for the winning team, while Mani Lama and Subash Lama converted their penalties for Patan ‘B’. In the third place playoff match, Orient thrashed Glacier 7-0. The top three teams received Rs 66,666, Rs 33,333 and Rs 22,222 respectively. Sher Bahadur Thapa of Patan ‘B’ won the best player and highest scorer awards, while Ananta Shrestha of Patan ‘C’ was named the best goalkeeper. A total of 58 teams participated in the five-day tournament.
