National football team head coach Abdullah Almutairi on Monday announced a 34-member preliminary squad for two friendly matches against Mauritius. Nepal are scheduled to face the African side on January 29 and February 1 at the Dasharath Stadium, informed the All Nepal Football Association.

The national team has not been in action since its 3-0 defeat at the hands of India in the SAFF Championship final in Maldives on October 16.

The preliminary squad includes Bishal Shrestha, Deep Karki, Kiran Kumar Limbu, Satrughan Chaudhary, Tikendra Thapa, Aashish Lama, Ahyush Ghalan, Akash Buda Magar, Ananta Tamang, Anjan Bista, Arik Bista, Bimal Gharti Magar, Bishal Rai, Darshan Gurung, Devendra Tamang, Dinesh Hemjan, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Gautam Shrestha, Kamal Thapa, Krittish Ratna Chhunju, Manish Dangi, Nabin Gurung and Nitin Thapa.

Also, Pujan Uperkoti, Santosh Tamang, Subash Gurung, Sudip Gurung, Sujal Shrestha, Suman Aryal, Suman Lama, Sunil Bal, Suraj Jeu Thakuri, Sushil Rai and Tej Tamang are in the list.
