KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club’s Sani Singh Sunar, Bikash Gurung and Badri Thapa advanced to the semi-finals of the 19th Men’s Open National and 12th Women’s Weight Category National Full-contact Karate Tournament here on Tuesday.
APF’s Rupak Nepali joined TAC trio in the semis. In women’s 55kg weight category, Sabina Shrestha of Central Dojo, Bimala Pariyar of Nepalgunj, Bindu Chaudhary of Rupandehi and Sanju BK of TAC entered the last four.
A total of 70 karatekas are competing in the event organised by Nepal Kyokushin Karate-Do Association Bajra.
