KATHMANDU: Nepal Sherpa Youth Association is set to hold the Sherpa Youth T20 Cricket Cup Tournament at Laboratory School Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur from Thursday. Chyanga Sherpa, treasurer of the association, informed that 22 teams have confirmed their participation in the tournament, which will run till September 4. “We are holding the tournament to mark the first anniversary of the association as well as to provide opportunities to new talents,” said Sherpa. Vice-president Angdawa Sherpa informed that the winners will take home Rs 60,000 and runners-up will receive Rs 40,000.
