KATHMANDU: Nepal PGA is organising the Surya Nepal Challenge here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club from Tuesday. A total of 36 players, 29 pros and seven amateur golfers, will take part in the 72-hole competition, the second event under the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2015-16. Top 121 players will make the cut for the final two rounds. Out of the total cash purse of Rs 383,200, the top three pros will receive Rs 70,000, Rs 44,000 and Rs 32,000 respectively. Top ranked Shiva Ram Shrestha, winner of the first event Sanjay Lama and defending champion Ravi Khadka along with Teaching Pro in Germany, Sabin Sapokta are in fray for trophy.
