Team off to Malaysia

LALITPUR: Nepali women’s national football team on Friday left for Kuala Lumpur to play two friendly matches against Malaysia at the Stadium Likas in Kota Kinabalu.

The Nepali team comprises of 20 players, two each coaches and managers as well as a physiotherapist. Renuka Nagarkote is skipper of the team that will play against Malaysia on May 22 and May 24.

Kumar Thapa is head coach and Mrigendra Mishra is goalkeeping coach. Shivanee Thapa is manager and Bindra Dewan is field manager. Bhumika Kyastha is physiotherapist.

Meanwhile, All Nepal Football Association President Narendra Shrestha among others bade farewell to the team amidst a programme.
