TipTop-XI, DAV and RSK Lions advanced to the semi-finals of the TipTop Marwadi Premier League here at the TU Stadium today.

TipTop defeated DAV by six wickets and topped Group A with six points, while the latter finished runners-up with five points. Similarly, Lions thrashed Beeone-XI and finished as Group B runners up with six points. Fighters had already booked their place in the last four with eight points.

Batting first, DAV scored 136-7 in their allotted 20 overs before TipTop reached 137-4 with a ball to spare.

TipTop won the match after Dinesh Budha Magar, who was named the man-of-the-match, scored 45-ball 58 hitting three boundaries and a six, while skipper Amol Sharma added 24 off 23 balls with the help of three fours and a six.

DAV's Ashutosh Ghiraiya and Shikhar Bothara claimed two wickets each.

Earlier, Ashutosh Ghiraiya scored 35 off 28 balls hitting five boundaries and Janardan Sharma contributed 27 off 26 balls with the help of two boundaries and a six to help DAV post the fighting total.

TipTop's Sumit Sharma picked up three wickets, while Rahul Punia and Amol Sharma claimed one wicket each.

In another match, Lions posted 165-3 before packing Beeone for 115 runs in 17.4 overs.

Lions reached a mammoth total after man-of-the-match Abhishek Basnet hammered an unbeaten 47-ball 66 with the help of three each fours and sixes. Durgesh Thapa scored 40-ball 56 not out hitting eight boundaries.

Jay Prakash Sharma, Mahesh Khatri and Mohit Agrawal claimed one wicket each for Beeone, who failed to win the match despite Mahesh Khatri scoring 58-ball 65 not out with the help of six boundaries. Lions' Tushar Agrawal claimed two wickets.
