KATHMANDU: Brihaspati Vidya Sadan is organising the fourth U-12 Inter-school Basketball Tournament at school courts from August 27 to September 2.

School coach Rabindra Maharjan informed that 12 teams each in boys and girls categories will take part in the tournament. Maharjan said that the tournament would help in the development of the basketball.

“We are organising the event as we believe U-12 is the base for the senior team,” said Maharjan.

The school is also organising the U-12 football tournament from September 3-9. The estimated budget for the two events is Rs 350,000.
