British police cordon off roads near London's Kings Cross station due to suspicious package

LONDON: British police cordoned off roads around Kings Cross railway station due to a report of a suspicious package on Friday, though the busy rail hub continued to operate as normal.

A police spokesman said roads had been shut near the station and said officers were in attendance.

British Transport Police said that the station was still open.

“It’s business as usual at the station,” a spokesman for British Transport Police said. “Access to the station might be affected by the cordons, but the station is operating as normal.”
