KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 15

Weather across the country is expected to remain generally cloudy on Wednesday with chances of light to moderate rainfall and lightning, the Meteorological Forecasting Division stated.

According to the division, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and at a few places of the remaining provinces.

Currently, the low-pressure system lies near Chhatisgadh and Madhya Pradesh regions of India, and as such can affect weather in Nepal. Additionally, the monsoon trough is situated mostly to the south, it added.

A weather system of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning has been predicted at most of the places of the country for the next three days.

The skies are general to fully cloudy in most parts of Nepal while some places of Province 2, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces have been witnessing light rainfall.
