A-G backs Feb 1 royal move

Supporting the February 1 royal move, Attorney General Professor Pawan Kumar Ojha today urged the people of various sectors to concretise the wish of the King.
“The present situation is not the wish of anyone but the situation created by compulsion; therefore every people, politicians, bureaucrats and professionals have to support the royal move,” Ojha said in a press released issued by the Office of the AG today citing his speech in Pokhara. He said this while addressing a training to the government attorneys working in western and mid western region.
“Democratic freedom without duties cannot protect the interest of anyone; therefore to protection of the rule of law in accordance with the 1990 Constitution, to hold the parliamentary election and to restore the multi-party democracy are the primary needs of the country,” the release has quoted AG as saying.
According to the release, Zonal administrator Kumar Bahadur Karki, Regional Administrator Chhatra Bikram Shah also urged the people to support the King’s wish.
