On the threshold of life
On the threshold of life

Passing from one threshold to another is a difficult job. Well here I am talking about passing from school and entering college.
I have always heard my brother and his friends talking about their college life. Listening to them I always longed to finish my tenth grade and jump to college. This will be my year because I have waited for this moment for a long time.
The thought itself is entertaining. I sit with a cup of tea and imagine what my life will be as a college student. New friends, new life I think I will totally become a new person but a better one. I have heard people saying school life is golden but college life I feel is like forbidden fruit.
I know life will be hectic then. No more playing and fooling around as we did in school but I think I am ready for that now. I have braced myself with all the difficulties and the hurdles I will have to face as a college student.
Going to college is my dream and it will materialise very soon and am patiently waiting for it. It is a great big mystery but I pray to God to let my collage life be good and comfortable. Help me Almighty to tread right path and not be carried away.
