KATHMANDU: Students affiliated to the UCPN-Maoist and the CPN-UML on Wednesday clashed over an “internal issue” at the Manamohan Campus at Sorhakhutte, the police said. Basu Thapalia (22) of the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union-Revolutionary was among the three injured in the clash. They have been taken to the Janamaitri Hospital for treatment. The police have arrested seven persons, both from the ANNISU-R and the All Nepal National Free Students’ Union. Student activists blocked traffic in areas adjoining ASCOL at Lainchaur after the incident.
