KATHMANDU: Nepa Hima Trade Link Pvt Ltd, has launched Sony’s alfa DSLR cameras with advanced imaging features. “We have launched three types of Sony alfa DSLRs,” said Spencer Low, head of Market Development Division, Regional Market Development Group. “The third generation DSLR products launched today have entry, mid-level and flagship models.” The entry-level models — 230, and 330 — are perfectly balanced for those from beginners to advanced, discerning photography buffs, and there’s no denying that the range of DSLR cameras have a strong appeal to a wide audience, he said. He added that Sony has lowered the entry barriers for DSLR cameras, so more consumers can benefit from full DSLR functionality and achieve outstanding image results. The mid range models — 500 and 550 - each deliver an outstanding combination of features to take consumers’ photography skills to the next level. “The flagship 900 model will also be available soon,” Low said adding that Sony is the market leader in the digital camera category. “Not only in Nepal, Sonys DSC cameras are the market leader in whole Asia.” The new products are available at six outlets in Kathmandu Valley and four major cities outside the valley. Sony has also introduced lenses and system accessories, including 4 new lenses designed for APS-C size DSLR cameras.
