Two critically injured in Jumla explosion

NEPALGUNJ: Two persons were seriously injured when a bomb exploded at Haku-1 of Gotamwada in Jumla, on Tuesday afternoon. The bomb exploded while the duo was collecting stones nearby their house. Forty-five-year-old Ramlaxmi Gautam and 39-year-old Muni Prasad Gautam were injured in the explosion. Ramlaxmi has lost her right hand and has received shrapnel injuries all over her body while Muni Prasad has lost his hearing power. Muni Prasad is undergoing treatment at the Jumla District Hospital while Ramlaxmi has been taken to Bheri Zonal Hospital in Nepalgunj. Kul Prasad Gautam, a relative of the injured, said it was a sutali bomb, a bomb tied with strings.
