Crown Prince feted

Cop, son killed

DHANGADHI: A group of suspected Maoists shot police head constable Koshila Majhi and her five-year-old son at her house at Trinagar of Kailali on Saturday evening. RNA Colonel at Teghariya based RNA barrack confirmed the incident. Her son died on the spot while she died while being taken to a hospital. — HNS

Tractor driver killed

BARA: A tractor driver, Ram Ayodhya Sahani, 42, was killed when the tractor he was driving toppled, fell on him and crushed him to death on Saturday at a stone-crushing industry at Nijgadh. Dharmendra was hit by a car at Rampur Tokani. Meanwhile, a cyclist Dharmendra Azad, of Maisthan was seriously hurt in a collision on Friday on Birgunj-Pathlaiya road. — HNS
