JANAKPURDHAM: Madhes Struggle Committee on Thursday burnt the effigies of the leaders of four major parties saying that the draft constitution they had brought was against Madhes-based parties and Madhesi leaders. The committee decided that the draft constitution was against the Madhesi people, they argued. “Preliminary constitution that has been brought to the public has no provision for federal territory and their names, hence, it is against Madhes and its people. According to Saroj Mishra, committee coordinator, the effigies of Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, UCPN-Maoist Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CA Chair Subhas Chandra Nemwang and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Democratic Chairman Bijaya Gachhadar were burnt in protest.
