SURUNGA: An elderly man died after being swept away by a river in Jhapa on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Sher Bahadur Rai (65) of Saniarjun Muncipality-3, Jhapa. According to the Area Police Office, Birtamod, the incident occurred while he had gone to fetch firewood.
