JANAKPURDHAM: Cadres of United Madhesi Democratic Fund (UDMF), which has been agitating here for many days against the proposed demarcation of federal units, set ablaze the Nepali Congress Dhanusha District Office based in Janakpur Municipality-4. The protestors who had come in a large number set the office on after pouring petrol over it at around 4 pm today. Security personnel, however, had dispersed a huge mob which had reached the CPN-UML party office in a bid to carry out the arson. Security in the area has been beefed up, following the incident.
