Curfew intact in Dhangadhi, Tikapur

Eight police personnel and a child were killed by an angry mob in Tikapur of Kailali on August 24, 2015.

DHANGADHI: The District Administration Office, Kailali has continued the curfew today also. The curfew was imposed after the Tikapur incident that took place on Monday, August 24. The curfew was lifted for three hours from 12 pm to 3 pm in Dhangadhi on Friday, Assistant Chief District Officer Udaya Bahadur Singh said. Likewise, the curfew was lifted for six hours from morning 6 am to 12 am in some places of Tikapur Municipality yesterday. According to the District Administration Office, though the condition of security situation is improving, normal life has been adversely affected due to the curfew.
