Thai envoy calls on VP Pun

KATHMANDU: Thai Ambassador to Nepal, Vutti Vuttisant, paid a courtesy call on Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun on Friday. During the meeting held at Vice-President's Office at the Bahadur Bhawan, Ambassador Vuttisant said that Nepal is a good neighbour of Thailand and the relations between the two countries could be further strengthened. Most of the Thai people wish to visit Nepal, the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, she added. Bilateral issues and Nepal-Thai relations were also discussed in the meeting. 'The meeting was also attended by Secretary at the Office of Vice-President, Rajendra Kishor Kshatri and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign affairs,' said Tulsi Dangi, personal secretary of the Vice-President.
