Kathmandu, December 5 Gold price increased by Rs 100 per tola and silver price remained stable over the week, during November 29 to December 4. The market opened on Sunday with gold price fixed at Rs 48,200 per tola. Price of the precious yellow metal tumbled by Rs 200 a tola to be traded at Rs 48,000 per tola on Monday. Bullion price, however, increased by Rs 400 per tola to be fixed at Rs 48,400 a tola on Tuesday. Gold price witnessed a marginal drop of Rs 100 per tola on Wednesday to be traded at Rs 48,300 a tola. On Thursday, bullion price again slumped by Rs 300 a tola to be fixed at Rs 48,000 per tola. Gold price again went up by Rs 300 per tola to settle at Rs 48,300 a tola on Friday — the last trading day of the week. Likewise, price of silver remained stable in the six trading days of the week. The market opened on Sunday with silver price fixed at Rs 675 per tola. Price of the white metal dropped by a marginal five rupees a tola on Monday to be fixed at Rs 670 per tola and remained unchanged till Thursday. Price of silver again went up by five rupees per tola on Friday to settle at Rs 675 a tola.
