KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula went to meet Mahantha Thakur, the chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, at the latter's residence Sanothimi. During their meeting, the two leaders discussed the issues related to endorsement of Constitution Amendment Bill that the erstwhile Nepali Congress-led government registered at the Parliament, resolution of the ongoing agitation in Tarai-Madhes region and withdrawal of blockade, the RSS reported, quoting an unnamed source close to Thakur. The two leaders held discussion over contemporary issues for about an hour, according the RSS report. Thakur's TMDP is a constituent of agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front.
