Blockade will end soon, says UML leader Khanal

ILAM: CPN-UML Senior Leader Jhala Nath Khanal on Tuesday said that the unofficial Indian blockade would end soon. Speaking at a programme organised by the UML Ilam District Committee, UML leader Khanal said that it was the responsibility of all to make the people aware about the constitution. Khanal further said that unity among major political parties representing in the parliament was essential and that misconception about the constitution would be ended once people are aware about the constitution at local level. During the interaction, local people of constituency-1 in Ilam, had asked Khanal to help to develop the bordering Nepali villages Samalbung and Sriantu.
