Nepal, Bangladesh share points in Bangabandhu Gold Cup

KATHMANDU: Nepal and Bangladesh played a goalless draw in their final game of Group A game in the Bangabandu Gold Cup in Dhaka this evening. READ ALSO

Both the teams had already booked their place in the semi final of the tournament. After sharing points Bangladesh top the group with five points with superior goal difference to Nepal. Nepal will take on Group B table topper -- either Maldives U-23 or Bahrain U-23 -- after tomorrow’s results. In today’s game, both Nepal and hosts Bangladesh had chances to score, but failed to cash on the opportunities. Nepal’s goalkeeper Bikesh Kuthu displayed some agile and excellent reflex saves to deny Bangladesh from taking the lead.
