12th SAG: Nepal into final of women's football after draw with India

KATHAMNDU: Nepal and India played a goalless draw in the women's football match of the 12th South Asian Games played in Shillong of India on Thursday. Earlier, Nepal had defeated Bangladesh 3-0 in their first match and thrashed Maldives 2-0 in their second match. Nepal will play against Sri Lanka on Saturday. Meanwhile, today's draw secured the final berth for Nepal. With two wins and the draw today, the last year's runners-up advanced into the final with seven points. India (five points) face Bangladesh (six) in what will be the last match for both nations on Saturday to decide which team will face Nepal in the summit clash on February 15. READ ALSO
