DAMAULI: Two persons have been injured after a bus hit a motorcycle they were riding on at Chambas in Bhanu Municipality-3 of Tanahun district on Friday. The bus (Ba 3 Kha 3005) heading to Dumre of Tanahun from Besisahar of Lamjung district had hit the two-wheeler (Ga 4 Pa 4437) coming from opposite direction. According to Tanahun District Police Office, the injured have been identified as motorcyclist Bharat Baniya (55) and pillion rider Sita Adhikari (35). Injured Baniya is receiving treatment at a local hospital in Dumre and critically injured in the accident, Adhikari, has been referred to the B&B Hospital in Kathmandu for further treatment, said police. Police said they have detained the driver and impounded the vehicle for further investigation.
