KHOTANG: District Police Office Khotang provided relief to fire victims of Ratnapark, Diktel on Thursday. A total of Rs 71,100 collected from personnel at DPO and other police units in the district were handed over to the fire victims that included police and locals. On December 17, property worth 52.7 million rupees was gutted when a fire triggered by an electric short circuit from the house of local Hiralal Puri gutted his and other houses including the rented apartment of the police and a few traders. Earlier, Community Service Centre, local chamber of commerce and industry and Nepali Congress had also provided relief to the victims.
