KATHMANDU: Nepal APF Club lifted the title of first Madan-Pasang Memorial National Women’s Volleyball Tournament here on Wednesday. APF came from a set down to beat New Diamond Academy 21-25, 25-23, 25-21, 20-15, 15-10. APF received Rs 50,000, while New Diamond earned Rs 35,000. Nepal Police Club finished third, while Western Region came fourth. They received Rs 25,000 and 10,000 respectively. Prathiva Mali was adjudged the best player of the tournament, while Kripa Adhikari, Saraswoti Chaudhary, Usha Bista, Kamala Pun, Aruna Shahi were named the best individual players in their respective positions. They received Rs 2,500 each. A total of six teams participated in three-day event.
