MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu tied the knot with actor Karan Singh Grover at a very private ceremony here on April 30. Basu looked dazzling in a heavily embellished red and golden lehenga as she was dressed as a true Bengali bride. Grover, chose an ethnic look for the wedding. He accessorised his ensemble with a carved polki and jadau brooch strung with pearls and blue sapphires. Basu’s close friends from the film industry including Dino Morea and R Madhavan attended the wedding. The couple later hosted a grand reception, which was a starry affair. The wedding reception saw the who’s who of tinsel town. It was attended by Bollywood A-listers like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Salman congratulated them and said that they looked “great together”. “It’s a wonderful pairing, they both look great together. But the most important thing is this marriage should last and I hope for the best for this couple,” he said.
