KHOTANG: The body of an unidentified person was recovered at Laxmi Devi Community Forest of Mangaltar of Khotang on Tuesday. The body was sent to District Hospital Diktel for post-mortem after locals observed it. DPO Sub-inspector Manoj Kumar Yadav said that it had been hard for them as the body was yet to be identified. According to locals, the deceased person, around his mid-forties, was seen begging a few days ago in the locality. Police have surmised that he might have died due to starvation.
