To mark the 48th Independence Day of Malaysia, Malaysian tourism, Air Nepal International and Hyatt Regency is showcasing a myriad of culinary offerings that’s uniquely a blend of Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines. Mahinder Singh, Malaysian Ambassador in Nepal, inaugurated the festival on September 31. The Malaysian food festival brings to us the many flavours, spices and tastes that retains the intrinsic to Asia. “It is an opportunity to relish the multicultural diversity of a Malaysian gourmet spread,” Ambassador Singh said.

Roslan Abdullah, director, Tourism Malaysia, says, “It’s an opportunity for those who’ve visited or are planning to visit the country to relish this multicultural diversity of the Malaysian gourmet spread.” The festival, which is on till September 7 will also witness a Malaysian cultural troupe perform spectacular dance shows.

Tourism Malaysia also offers an alluring seven-day holiday package that promises beaches in the morning, shopping in the afternoon, fireflies in the evening and a footloose night out at a 15 per cent cut rate.
