You are a fantastic crowd. I have enjoyed in a performance after a long time. I promise I will come again,” she said. Sinha was one of the two Bollywood actress to share the stage with Nepali celebrities and together they all performed to raise funds for the earthquake victims of the Gorkha earthquake 2015. And Bollywood item queen Malaika Arora wooed Nepali audience with her sensual moves in Anarkali Disco Chali — it was a treat for the eyes. Renasha Rai was the choreographer of Nepali artistes — Priyanka Karki, Indira Joshi, Rekha Thapa, Sushma Karki, Keki Adhikari, Reecha Sharma, and Nisha Adhikari. There were 50 backup dancers to accompany the artistes on stage. The dances ranged from traditional to hip hop, and contemporary among others, and it was Priyanka who impressed the audience with Surke Thaili. Along with her dance performance, Joshi also crooned her song Mannko Kura during the charity event. The fund raised from nearly three-hour-long performance will be used for construction of schools and reconstruction of Dharahara. The Himalayan Times was the exclusive media partner of the event.
