KATHMANDU: Police said they have arrested eight persons, including a Pakistani woman, in possession of fake foreign currencies rupees from various places in the Capital. Counterfeit currencies with the face value of IRs 19,87,000 were seized from six Nepalis and and Indian national, and fake US dollar 19,500 from the Pakistani national. Police paraded them at the Metropolitan Police Office, Ranipokhari today. The suspects have been identified as Meera Jirel of Dolakha; Suman Malla of Kapan, Kathmandu; Tarini Prasad Thakur of Malahan, Saptari; Baijanath Gupta of  Indian state of Bihar and currently residing in Lahan, Siraha; Bijayaraj Sharma of Rupandehi; Sanad Pradhan of Gulmi; and Amrit Man Shrestha of Doti.
