KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Wednesday filed a fake credential case at the Special Court against a Nepal Police Sub-inspector. SI Sudhir Bikram Shah, currently deployed at the Bouddha-based Metropolitan Police Circle, while beginning the service, had submitted a fake certificate of Intermediate level issued in 1995 from the Patna-based Bihar Intermediate Education Council, the Commission said. The anti-corruption constitutional body demanded maximum actions against him as per Section 16.1 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2002.
