Turkish team finds Nepal safe

Turkish journalists, tourism entrepreneurs and experts said Nepal is a relatively safe destination. They also pointed out the need to promote the “mystical kingdom” which has a lot to offer. They also expressed their commitment to promote Nepal in their country. The visiting delegates, however, pointed out the need to promote the country in the international market including Turkey. Around seven million Turkish go out of Turkey every year but they have not much idea about Nepal, they said.

A 16-member delegation of the Turkish media led by Prof Dr Gunseli Malkoc are here on a familiarisation trip organised by Nepal Tourism Board and supported by Gulf Air, Hotel Soaltee amongst others. Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Communication Tanka Dhakal met with the visiting delegation of Turkish journalists here today.
