PM assures free treatment to injured People's Liberation Army fighters

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that present government would take initiative to provide free treatment to injured members of former People’s Liberation Army. Meeting a delegation representing injured and disabled members of the then Maoist guerrilla army at the PM’s official residence in the Capital on Thursday, PM Dahal said, “The government will provide National Identity Cards and will also take initiative to increase subsistence allowance for injured and disabled PLA fighters.” During the meeting, the delegation drew attention of PM Dahal, saying that they had not been receiving free treatment services.
